Chimera Music offers its services to game/software developers in need of music for their product.
Consisting of six people, we cover the entire spectrum of electronic music, including but not limited
to: chiptunes, techno, ambient, demostyle, experimental electronica, acid jazz, etcetera. And even
though as a scene group we primarily use native module formats, MP3 and OGG can also be provided.
Because we compose music first and foremost for our own enjoyment, we don't require any form of
payment for our music. However, that also means that we won't take jobs for commercial projects; we
are available for freeware productions only. We also reserve the right to reject
opportunities, for instance, when our time is limited; we aren't convinced of the quality of the
product; or other good reasons like that. Finally, we insist that all music produced for your
project remains our intellectual property.
With that out of the way, here's how to get in touch with us. Send us a working in-progress example
and/or design of any kind, and we'll get back to you to discuss the matter. (As for the platform,
Windows is preferred because of practical reasons, but we'd have no problems working for a Linux-based
project). You can use the contact form or e-mail group organizer Alpha
Centauri directly.

Current projects
- At the moment we're working with independent developer Wesley Stessens (profoX) to provide module
music for a cross-platform (SDL-based) Pong/Arkanoid clone
(blog post,
Dutch language).
- Also we're providing the soundtrack to Louis Lavallée's Total Carnage, a 2D game inspired
on Geometry Wars (download demo,
requires .NET Framework 2.0).
